A Florida member of the Thunderguards Motorcycle Club, an affiliate of the Pagans MC, was sentenced on Wednesday to 10 years in federal prison for conspiring to deal methamphetamine. 36-year-old Andrew “Yeti” Shettler had pleaded guilty January 30.

In April of 2017, Shettler was caught up in an FBI investigation into drug trafficking organizations that supplied motorcycle clubs, including the Pagans Motorcycle Club and their affiliated groups operating in Florida, with distribution amounts of meth. Shettler, himself part of the Thunderguards Motorcycle Club, conspired with several bikers of the Pagans to distribute the addictive product in and around Daytona Beach.

The DEA later joined the far-ranging investigation, which to date, resulted in the imprisonment of 21 individuals who were found guilty.

“This case exemplifies the cooperation among federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies to dismantle dangerous criminal organizations that threaten the safety of our communities,” said Rachel L. Rojas, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI Jacksonville Division. “The FBI will continue to target the leadership of these organizations and bring them to justice for the harm caused by their criminal actions.”
