The trial of James “Whitey” Bulger has been one wild ride so far. With Bulger claiming he wasn’t an FBI informant, getting involved in curse-laced shouting matches with former members of his crew, and gruesome photo and video evidence of his vicious murders.
This week, he will face the man who was his right hand on the streets of Boston, Stephen “The Rifleman” Flemmi. It is looking to be another heated day in court as Flemmi will not be testifying about Bulger’s upstanding behavior.
A good way to receive up-to-the-minute updates on the Bulger trial is by following Boston author and radio host Howie Carr on Twitter. Carr will be present in court tweeting live updates every proceeding.
